Rashid shares his knowledge not only with tourist guests, but also with other guides in guide training programs and with students as university lecturer. He teaches two courses entitled "Economics and Religion" and "Civilizations of Ancient Turkey" at the prestigious Bosphorus University in Istanbul and has organized training programs on Christian History in Turkey, on Anzacs and on Turkish neolithic for Turkish tour guides.

Rashid is the author of several books on Turkey, including a book on the history of the Great Goddess in Turkey and About Turkey, a book on economics, politics and society, available through internet bookshops.

Rashid specializes on cultural tours to Turkey. Istanbul in general, Goddess tradition in Turkey, Christian history in Turkey, Gallipoli, Ottoman architecture, Cappadocia and Sufism (history and philosophy of “whirling dervishes”) are among his special interest areas.
